STUDIO VINKAT came to us because they wanted to integrate a new concept into their already successful brand, which we took as an opportunity to develop a design update. Inspired not only by the design industry, but also with conscious influences from the vintage fashion segment, STUDIO VINKAT radiates coolness and industrial roughness, combined with elegant elements.
The typeface Sackers Gothic brings a subtle sense of heritage to the brand. Its refined, architectural character carries a quiet reference to Art Deco, without becoming overly decorative or nostalgic. Often associated with hospitality, restaurants and luxury environments, the typeface communicates elegance, permanence and a certain sense of occasion. For a vintage design furniture brand, this creates a natural connection to the history and craftsmanship of the objects, while still feeling contemporary.
We deliberately paired Sackers Gothic with a clean and restrained layout and image style. The simplicity of the layout gives the typography space to express its character without overwhelming the visual identity. The result is a balance between vintage references and modern clarity, creating a brand world that feels timeless rather than retro.
